A pretty good night
We rehearse almost every week, but something special happened last night. We were working on “Pour Out Your Spirit” by Tom Lane. About halfway through, I found myself lost in worship. A calming peace washed over me. I realized just how awesome that feeling was and I began to understand the reason I am in CFW. I crave that feeling. I want the whole world to have that feeling. I didn’t want that moment to end. Sadly, it did as we wrapped up rehearsal. I am a lucky man. I figure I perform worship music around 10 hours a week, not counting personal rehearsals or just hearing worship music. That probably boosts the total to 20 or 25 hours a week. Not bad, but not enough.
